I have had two recent positive experiences with with Monroe Foreign Auto, and would gladly recommend them to anyone! Great communication & reasonable prices. They showed a lot of generosity when they discovered irreparable engine damage on a Mitsubishi truck I asked them to look at for a no-start issue. They would have been justified in charging me for more than they did in the end, but they were sympathetic with my situation. Most recently, they did a pre-purchase inspection for me on a 2000s Subaru Outback. I got a very comprehensive report, including input on which items were high-priority work versus preventative maintenance. Thanks Chris, Josh, and all the techs who took a look at my cars!

So glad we found them. Brought my car in for a noise and they did a full inspection and researched the noise. Found it was a common issue with the car and no repairs were needed. I expected a larger bill but they only charged 30 minutes of tech time. Will definitely be back.

Been going here for years and they always take care of me here. Great shop with a really good turn around time as well!

Did a good job, however refused to service my vehicle

They took GREAT care of my daughter's Fiesta, showing not only great expertise and ability to address the issues, but especially an outstanding customer care. They have immediately become our Goto shop for mechanical repairs for our cars and I cannot recommend them enough! It is so hard to find reliable shops, let alone honest and kind people...I'm so impressed we found both qualities in this shop...a hidden gem!

I was nervous at first. It's hard being a woman and needing mechanic work. You ladies know what I mean. The manager was so nice and friendly. He really listened to me and they fixed my car for a reasonable price. Highly recommend!!! I'll. Be back when something else goes wrong!!!! Thank you!!!!

I had my car towed here over the weekend when it broke down. I called them Monday morning when they open. I told them what was going on with it, and before I could finish, he told me he wouldn’t work on it because it was diesel. Car in question is a 2002 VW beetle TDI. Not sure they realize, but a least of quarter of German cars are diesel. Every single foreign repair shop in the area works on diesel cars. They told me to tow it back out of there. So I had to call a tow truck all over again and I had it towed to the shop I always go to, Z sport euro in everett. They work on diesel cars and have people who know what they’re doing. I didn’t feel the need to get mad over the phone, it wasn’t going to help anything, they weren’t rude either. I’m just dumbfounded I was told that. Maybe hire someone who can do that? You’re losing money by not working on diesel cars.
