Inspected cooling system for leaks. Checked for proper operation of electric cooling fans. Suspect that thermostat may be intermittently failing to open. Check under carriage, brakes, exhaust, steering and suspension, tires, visual inspection of engine for possible problems in the future. Drained coolant. Removed and replaced thermostat, gasket and coolant temp sensor. Refilled coolant and test drive. Tests good! Drain and refill engine oil. Remove and replace oil filter.
